• Troubleshoot student issues with the virtual learning course.
• Support government-directed student progress monitoring by compiling and validating required metrics and inputs using government-approved formats and tools.
• Maintain facilitator issue logs for recurring student issues and grading anomalies in government-approved tracking tools.
• Assist in preparing course deliverable inputs per the SOW by providing facilitator-owned sections and data.
• Provide guidance and feedback to students on general networking systems, operating systems, and technical writing.

Course Facilitator I

Location: Hanover, MD (Hybrid) | Status: Open

We are currently seeking a Course Facilitator I to support the student learning experience for a virtual course by answering student questions, validating automated grading and feedback behaviors, and providing facilitator-owned inputs to course deliverables as specified in the SOW. The facilitator troubleshoots and supports students within facilitator permissions and escalates LMS defects, grading system defects, and infrastructure issues to the appropriate technical teams using government-approved processes and tools. Reporting focuses on learner experience and course workflow support rather than roster or attendance ownership.

Work Schedule

Courses run 0800-1700, Monday through Friday. Contract core hours are 1000-1400.

Essential Responsibilities (describe the day-to-day)

• Communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals from varied backgrounds.
• Review automated graded activities and validate grading and feedback outputs for correctness and completeness, identifying anomalies and documenting reproducible evidence for correction.
• Provide first-line student support for the virtual learning experience (course navigation, content access, submission workflow issues, content clarification), escalating platform defects with sufficient diagnostic detail (steps to reproduce, timestamps, screenshots/logs as permitted).
• Troubleshoot student issues with the virtual learning course.
• Support government-directed student progress monitoring by compiling and validating required metrics and inputs (pacing indicators, completion status, at-risk flags) using government-approved formats and tools.
• Maintain facilitator issue logs for recurring student issues and grading anomalies in government-approved tracking tools, providing reproducible defect documentation to support timely resolution.
• Assist in preparing course deliverable inputs per the SOW by providing facilitator-owned sections and data, as tasked.
• Provide guidance and feedback to students on general networking systems, operating systems, and technical writing.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands

General office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Experience facilitating or supporting delivery of technical/cyber training (virtual instructor-led).
• Experience providing student support in online learning environments.
• Experience validating grading/feedback outputs (manual or automated) for accuracy and completeness.
• Experience documenting and escalating courseware or platform issues using approved processes and tools.

Security Clearance Required

TS/SCI preferred

Minimum Education

One of the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, Education/Instructional Technology, Engineering, or a related field, plus two (2) years of relevant experience; or
• Associate's degree (or 18 semester hours of military coursework/training in a related field), plus six (6) years of relevant experience; or
• Certification as a T50 Exploiter Trainer within the last two (2) years, plus five (5) years of IO or EA experience.

Minimum Years of Experience

At least six (6) months of FORGE/HAMR teaching experience within the last two years, or certification as a T50 Exploiter Trainer within the last two (2) years plus two (2) years of IO or EA experience. Relevant experience includes facilitating or supporting technical/cyber training delivery, student support in online learning environments, validation of grading/feedback outputs, and documenting or escalating courseware or platform issues using approved processes and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience facilitating or supporting technical training delivery and providing first-line student support (course navigation, submissions, basic troubleshooting).
• Experience reviewing grading outputs (manual and/or automated) to identify anomalies and ensure feedback completeness prior to release.
• Experience documenting student-impacting issues with reproducible detail and escalating via government-approved channels and tools.
• Familiarity with an LMS (Blackboard, Moodle, Canvas, Cornerstone, Ginkgo, or equivalent) at an instructor/facilitator level.
• Experience compiling facilitator-owned reporting inputs (recurring student issues, grading anomalies, recommendations) in government-approved formats.
• Experience protecting sensitive assessment information (rubrics, answer keys, student data) and complying with need-to-know controls.
• Familiarity with common delivery tools (Microsoft Teams) and courseware tools (Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia).
• Experience with systems engineering and commonly used programming languages, including Python, Java, HTML, or Perl.

Compensation Details
