Course Facilitator 2

Location: Hanover, MD (Hybrid) | Status: Open

We are currently seeking a Course Facilitator to provide senior facilitation support for virtual course delivery. Beyond Level 1 duties, the Level 2 facilitator leads identification and documentation of systemic student-impacting issues and grading/feedback defects, coordinates escalations across LMS, Software, QA, and IT teams, performs quality control review of facilitator-generated reporting inputs, and maintains facilitator procedures and job aids in version-controlled formats as directed. Reporting focuses on learner experience and course workflow support rather than roster or attendance ownership.

Work Schedule

Courses run 0800-1700, Monday through Friday. Contract core hours are 1000-1400.

Essential Responsibilities (describe the day-to-day)

• Communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals from varied backgrounds.
• Review automated graded activities to determine whether grading was applied appropriately.
• Lead identification and documentation of systemic grading/feedback defects, coordinating with LMS administrators and software engineers to support timely correction and regression verification.
• Troubleshoot student issues with virtual learning courses, including advanced troubleshooting of workflow issues (VM connection issues, novel student or content issues), and coordinate escalations across technical teams.
• Provide quality control review of facilitator-generated reporting inputs and metrics prior to submission, including accuracy checks, trend flags, and data anomaly review, per the government-directed reporting cadence.
• Provide guidance and feedback to students on general networking systems, operating systems, and technical writing.
• Support continuous improvement of automated feedback by recommending enhancements that increase specificity and reduce ambiguity, consistent with SOW feedback requirements.
• Assist in maintaining facilitator procedures and job aids (runbooks/checklists) in editable, version-controlled formats as directed.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands

General office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Demonstrated ability to lead identification and documentation of systemic grading/feedback defects and recurring learner workflow issues.
• Experience coordinating cross-team issue resolution with LMS administrators, software engineers, and QA.
• Experience mentoring junior facilitators and standardizing facilitation practices.
• Exceptionally professional conduct in the performance of duties.

Security Clearance Required

TS/SCI preferred

Minimum Education

One of the following:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Education/Instructional Technology, Engineering, or a related field, plus four (4) years of relevant experience; or
• Bachelor's degree in the same fields, plus six (6) years of relevant experience; or
• Associate's degree (or 18 semester hours of military coursework/training in a related field), plus eight (8) years of relevant experience; or
• High school diploma/GED, plus ten (10) years of relevant experience.

Minimum Years of Experience

Certification as a T50 Exploiter Trainer within the last two (2) years, plus five (5) years of IO or EA experience. Relevant experience includes Level 1 facilitator experience plus lead responsibilities such as mentoring junior facilitators, leading identification and documentation of systemic grading/feedback defects, coordinating cross-team defect resolution, performing quality control of facilitator reporting, and maintaining facilitator procedures/runbooks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience serving as lead facilitator (or equivalent) for technical training, including mentoring junior facilitators and standardizing facilitation practices.
• Experience coordinating issue resolution with LMS administrators, software engineers, QA/test, and instructors, tracking issues to closure and validating fixes and regressions.
• Experience identifying and documenting systemic grading/feedback defects and recurring learner workflow issues, including developing clear defect reports with supporting evidence.

Compensation Details

$175,000 - $225,000
