The developer will be responsible for preparing learning materials and assessment tasks for the following 3-credit-unit face-to-face undergraduate course:

Background

ENGL4425EEF Literature and Film is a 3-credit-unit, 4000-level course which investigates critical concepts and theories that inform the study of literary and filmic texts from different socio-historical contexts, thereby allowing students to cultivate a greater sensitivity and deeper understanding of the important cultural texts that shape our contemporary culture.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Developing learning materials; and
• Assisting the Course Leader with other necessary tasks.

Candidates

• A Bachelor’s degree, and preferably a higher degree, in Cultural Studies, Film Studies, Literary studies, and/or other related disciplines;
• Preference will be given to those who have experience in materials development at tertiary level; and
• In addition to an excellent command of written English, effective communication skills and the ability to work independently are required.
