Job summary

Talentify is seeking a dependable courier to support MedWorks Pharmacy and Major Hospital locations. The role involves delivering prescriptions, medications, supplies, interoffice mail, and deposits with accuracy and courtesy.

You will plan daily routes, adjust to changing priorities, and maintain strict confidentiality while documenting interactions and transactions. Clerical support may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate vehicle in varying conditions.
• Ability to organize and adjust routes as priorities change.
• Accurate completion of electronic and written documentation.
• Safely transport medications, financial materials, confidential information.

JOB SUMMARY AND SPECIFICATIONS

JOB SUMMARY

Provides safe, timely, accurate, and courteous courier services for MedWorks Pharmacy and Major Hospital locations. Responsible for the transportation and delivery of prescriptions, medications, supplies, interoffice mail, bank deposits, documents, and other authorized items to patients, healthcare facilities, clinics, hospital departments, and other designated locations.
Plans and adjusts daily delivery routes to meet changing priorities and operational needs while maintaining appropriate security, confidentiality, documentation, and communication. Provides clerical and general support to MedWorks Pharmacy as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Professional & Technical Skills

• Good driving skills and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate a vehicle in varying traffic and weather conditions.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and adjust a delivery route based on changing needs.
• Ability to accurately complete electronic and written documentation.
• Ability to safely and securely transport medications, financial materials, confidential information, and other organizational property.
• Basic computer and electronic device skills, including the ability to use an iPad and point-of-sale/register system.

Education

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.

License(s) or Certification(s)

• Must have a valid driver’s license, personal automobile insurance and an acceptable driver’s record.

Other Skills or Requirements

• Must be dependable, punctual, flexible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Requires effective communication, interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and time-management skills.
