Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join our team at 550 17th Ave in Seattle, WA 98122. This role involves loading supplies, managing daily pickups, delivering to the branch, and safely handling specimens while operating a company vehicle in compliance with traffic laws.

Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license, being at least 21, and strong time-management and customer-service skills. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $28.40 per hour with a second-shift differential and eligible benefits for

Responsibilities

LabCorp is seeking a Courier to join our team at 550 17th Ave in Seattle, WA 98122.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 3:15pm-11:15pm

Job Responsibilities

• Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups
• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner
• Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up
• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• No Experience or Education Required

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6 months or more previous driver/courier experience

Additional Job Standards

• Valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Very punctual with strong time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Pay Range

$21.00 to $28.40 per hour plus 2nd shift differential

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21.
