Job summary

Talentify in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Part-Time Driver to support timely pickup and delivery of lab specimens, supplies, and other items to and from the Hospital. This role requires eight-hour days Thursday and Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.

You will review request information for accuracy, assist with sorting reports, and keep a daily activity record of trips, destinations, times, and requests. Must have HS diploma, Indiana driver's license, clean driving record, and strong customer service and

Qualifications

• HS grad or GED equivalent.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license with a clean driving history.
• Understanding of Indiana traffic laws.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive throughout the city and surrounding areas for pickup and delivery of laboratory specimens, supplies and other items to and from the Hospital.
• Review the client specimen request information for accuracy and proper packaging.
• Assist with sorting client reports and deliveries according to specimen type and department requirement.
• Maintain a daily activity record indicating trips, destinations, arrival/departure times, and requests.

Reviews the client's specimen request information for accuracy and proper packaging. Assists with sorting of client reports. Assists with sorting of deliveries according to specimen type and department required. Keeps a daily activity record indicating number of trips, destination, arrival/departure times and the number of requests.

• Requires HS grad or GED Equivalent.
• Requires a valid Indiana Operator's license and a good driving history.
• Requires understanding of the traffic laws of the state of Indiana.
• Requires ability to communicate effectively.
• Requires strong customer service skills.
