Indiana University Health in Indianapolis is seeking a part-time driver to support the laboratory transportation program. The role covers rural and city routes, Thursday and Friday day shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with responsibilities for timely pickup and delivery of specimens and supplies.
You must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Indiana driver's license with a clean driving history, and the ability to communicate effectively while providing strong customer service.
Part-Time 2, eight hour days a week Thursday and Friday day shift. 8 am to 4:30 pm
Drives throughout the city and surrounding areas ensuring timely pickup and delivery of laboratory specimens, supplies and other items to and from the Hospital. Reviews the client's specimen request information for accuracy and proper packaging. Assists with sorting of client reports. Assists with sorting of deliveries according to specimen type and department required. Keeps a daily activity record indicating number of trips, destination, arrival/departure times and the number of requests.
Requires HS grad or GED Equivalent.
