Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. This on-campus role supports 8–13 students in a family-like home, with nine days on duty followed by three off, and a path to a placed houseparent position.

You will supervise daily routines, lead activities, manage schedules, and participate in devotions and Chapel services. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, relocation assistance, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth.
• This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel with students.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
