Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking a married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes. You will provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students, creating a family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

The roles include a nine-on, three-off schedule with progression to a placed houseparent, and compensation includes housing, meals on duty, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
