Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks a married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, fostering academic, emotional, and social growth.

Initially, duties cover multiple homes with a nine-on/three-off cycle; later, couples transition to a placed home with a consistent group. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary per person.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Two-person role for married couple
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsabilités

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities with students
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
