Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students, creating a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social development.

Initially, pairs support multiple homes on a rotating nine days on/three days off schedule, then transition to a Placed Houseparent role with the same

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married for couples as a prerequisite.
• Both spouses must be 27 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
