Job summary

Counseling Works is seeking a Couples & Relationships Therapist in the Chicago suburbs. Full-time or part-time, W2, hybrid or in-person. Pre-licensed clinicians encouraged; supervision toward licensure provided at no cost.

You’ll carry a caseload from day one, with a dedicated biller and intake coordinator, flexible hours, and growth opportunities. Earn a percentage of collected revenue, with uncapped earnings and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Pre-licensed clinicians encouraged to apply — LPC, LSW, and AMFT candidates receive free supervision toward full licensure.
• Master's degree (MEd, MSW, or MA) required.
• At least 1 year of direct experience counseling couples.
• Gottman, EFT, Imago, or AAMFT certification preferred; attachment theory or trauma experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide couples and individual therapy sessions.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and formulate DSM-5 diagnoses.
• Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with intake, leadership, and care coordination teams.
• Contribute to couples specialty outreach and marketing initiatives.
• Attend monthly CEU events and engage in ongoing professional development.
