Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks a married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes. You will provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for about 8–13 students, fostering academic, emotional, and social development while living on-site.

The role involves daily supervision, budgeting, devotions, and coordinating activities, with a nine-on, three-off schedule initially and transition to a placed home. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Two-person role for couples (spouses)
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
• Supporting various student homes initially with a nine-on, three-off schedule, then placing with a consistent group of students
