Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents for married couples to live on campus and care for a group of 8-13 students. You will supervise, mentor, manage routines, and participate in devotions and Sunday Chapel.

This two-person role requires a two-year marriage, ages 27+, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus. On-site housing, meals on duty, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for legally married couples for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
