Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents to live on campus and care for a group of 8–13 students. The two-person role requires married couples and ages 27+, with duties including supervision, scheduling, wellness, transportation, and faith-based activities.

Couples work nine days on, three off, with transition to a fixed home. Benefits include comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.

• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
