Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus homes, providing care, guidance, and supervision for 8–13 students, creating a structured, family-like environment to support academic, emotional, and social growth.

Two-person teams must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses 27+, and able to drive student vans. Benefits include housing, meals on duty, insurance, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children living in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
