Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples as full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students, helping them develop academically, emotionally, and socially.

The role includes daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, and leading devotions and Chapel attendance. Teams begin in multiple homes and may transition to a placed home with a stable group.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
