Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples for a Full-time Flex Houseparents role. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, mentorship, and supervision for groups of 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment to support development.

Responsibilities include supervision, routines, wellness, transportation to activities, daily devotions, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
