Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents to live on-campus and care for a group of 8–13 students in a family-like home. The role emphasizes supervision, guidance, and development in a structured environment.

Couples start in a flexible assignment and may transition to a placed houseparent role. Requirements include two-year married status, age 27+, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Comfort leading students in devotions and attending Sunday Chapel services.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan development/recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
