Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring full-time Flex Houseparents for couples to live in on-campus student homes. The role centers on guiding 8–13 students, maintaining routines, and supporting their academic, emotional, and social development.

As a two-person partnership, you will provide daily supervision, lead activities, and engage in devotions and chapel services while managing household budgets and care schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Two-year marriage minimum for couples
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
• Two-person role for couples

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
