Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks full-time Flex Houseparents—two married individuals—to live in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance and supervision for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, wellness checkups, transport, devotions, and budgeting.

Couples work a nine-on, three-off cycle, with potential transition to a placed Houseparent role, living with the same group in their own student home.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older (implied in qualifications).
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel activities.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
