Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents. You will reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, and support for about 8–13 students, and help develop their academic, emotional, and social growth in a structured family-like setting.

The role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential to transition into a placed houseparent living with the same group.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-spouse couple must be legally married for at least two years.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
