Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full‑time Flex Houseparents—a two‑person role for legally married couples. You will provide supervision, guidance, and care for 8–13 students in on-campus homes, while managing schedules, devotions, and activities. The position includes transition to a placed houseparent role.

Housing is included and compensation is generous for couples. Applicants must be married at least two years, both spouses 27+, and have a high school diploma or GED. Valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff are role models.

• Driving students to activities and planning development/recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
