Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus. You will supervise 8–13 students per home, provide guidance, and coordinate daily routines while living on-site.

The role includes overseeing meals, transport, and activities with a structured nine days on, three off schedule. As a couple, you will act as role models in a familystyle environment, transitioning later to a placed houseparent with ongoing responsibilities in the same

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-person role; couples must be married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to certify to drive student vans.
• Experience working or volunteering with youth preferred.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Initially support multiple student homes with a nine-on/three-off schedule.
• Transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group.
