Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, caring for 8–13 students, guiding academic, emotional, and social development in a family-like environment.

Two-person, full-time roles require both spouses to be legally married for at least two years and to be 27 or older. On-duty schedule includes nine days on, three off, with potential placement in shared student homes.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Dual-spouse requirement: both spouses must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
