Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or related field required.
  • At least 3 years planning/zoning experience preferred.
  • AICP certification preferred; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning-related boards, commissions, and public engagement activities.
  • Prepare reports, staff recommendations, and presentations for boards and stakeholders.
  • Conduct demographic, economic, housing, transportation, and land use analyses.
  • Assist with long-range planning, master plans, and capital improvement planning.
  • Review development proposals for compliance with zoning and regulations.
  • Prepare staff reports, findings of fact, and recommendations for planning commissions.
