Working closely with a range of departments, you'll facilitate communication cells, promote effective collaboration, and help drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operation. Supporting Team Managers, you'll identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and improve ways of working. You'll also contribute to the effective management of large operational budgets, ensuring resources are utilised efficiently and deliver maximum value. This role offers the chance to influence positive change, build strong stakeholder relationships, and make a tangible impact on operational success. You'll be based in Derby. With this being such a critical role, we're looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, Mon - Fri.

HOW WE WORK You'll join a caring culture that collaborates to achieve, grow, and develop. Our employee engagement scores are among the highest globally in energy and utilities. That's why, we value in-person moments to keep our culture alive but also understand the flexibility working from home can bring. So, you'll usually find us in the office, but working from home is supported, when you need it.

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who enjoys working collaboratively with others and building strong relationships across teams. You'll be confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, with the ability to positively influence and engage others to drive improvements and achieve shared goals. Strong interpersonal skills and a personable approach are essential, enabling you to work effectively with colleagues at all levels. A full driving licence would be advantageous, but is not essential for the role. Skills and experience are important, but character, positivity, and a caring attitude matter too. We welcome and celebrate diverse individuals, knowing they help us better serve our communities. We seek people who get involved, want to be part of something bigger, and make a difference because they care.

At Severn Trent, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
