  • Help load, unload, and move food and supplies (regular lifting required)
Customer Service & Client Experience
  • Create a welcoming, respectful, and dignified experience for all clients
  • Support a self-shopping or client-choice model where possible
  • Assist clients directly and help resolve concerns calmly and professionally
  • Set and maintain clear, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Recruit, train, and support pantry volunteers
  • Provide clear direction and ensure a safe, positive environment

  • Use basic computer systems for data entry and reporting
Community & Program Support
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with community partners and donors
  • Support fundraising efforts and attend occasional community events
  • Help identify ways to improve pantry operations and client experience
What We’re Looking For

  • Organized and reliable, especially with inventory and reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay calm in a busy environment
  • Comfortable setting boundaries while maintaining a welcoming tone
  • Familiarity with rural communities and ability to navigate local resources
  • Comfortable with computers, data entry, and basic reporting systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This is a great fit if you are:
  • Someone who takes pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly
  • Friendly and approachable, but also firm and fair when needed
  • The kind of person who notices what needs to be done and steps in
  • Comfortable balancing logistics and people in the same day
  • Motivated by meaningful work, even when it’s busy or hands-on
Helpful (but not required)
