Job summary

South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services seeks a county operations leader to supervise multiple county offices, oversee staff and budgets, and implement Field Services policies. The position is entirely on-site, with responsibilities including program development, staff training, and public relations within the counties of oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 15 semester hours in social or behavioral science courses and experience in probation and parole work.
• An associate’s degree and two years of military or certified law enforcement experience may be substituted.
• A high school diploma and four years of military or certified law enforcement experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages all aspects of one or more county operations under limited supervision.
• Manages human and fiscal resources within the oversight counties; implements Field Services policies and procedures.
