Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in Delaware County, PA is seeking a County Caseworker 1 to help families stay safe and strong. You will perform assessments, coordinate services, and provide guidance to families in homes and community settings. Telework is limited initially, with potential hybrid options after six months.

The role emphasizes building relationships, documenting findings, and supporting caregivers while enabling professional development and a strong benefits package.

Qualificações

• Two years of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 and two years of college coursework which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
• A bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by successful completion of 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and one year of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 or in a similar position performing paraprofessional case management functions.

• Manage Cases: Organize services and maintain steady communication with families
• Support Families: Provide guidance in home routines, budgeting, and child care
• Coordinate Services: Connect families with community resources to improve well‑being
• Document Findings: Maintain accurate records to support decision‑making and service planning
