Job summary

Crawford County Human Services seeks a County Caseworker 1 to support children and families referred under the Child Protective Services Law. You will guide families through the case process, focus on safety, well‑being and permanency, and work with a team to promote positive outcomes.

Responsibilities include case management, monitoring family conditions, connecting families with resources, documenting activities, and collaborating with partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology or related social sciences.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training with relevant credits and paraprofessional case management functions.
• Educational requirements may be met within two months of graduation.
