Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a County Caseworker 2 for Perry County Child Welfare Services. You will support children and families, perform social casework, and work with a collaborative team. The role emphasizes protecting children and strengthening families in a community-focused department.

Work is full-time with a schedule 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Telework is not available, and a strong focus on safety and timely decision-making is required for successful outcomes.

Competenze

• Six months of experience as County Caseworker 1 or equivalent.
• Degree options include social welfare or related social sciences.
• Educational requirements may be met within two months of graduating.

Mansioni

• Intake planning and risk assessment using approved models.
• Investigate child safety concerns and ensure timely actions.
• Conduct monthly home visits and develop family service plans.
• Oversee out-of-home placements with monthly visits and contacts.
• Maintain accurate family files and case notes.
