Bedford-Somerset Developmental and Behavioral Health Services (DBHS) seeks a County Caseworker 2 to connect individuals and families with essential services, monitor progress, and advocate for self-determination. The role emphasizes individualized service planning, data entry, and crisis support within a supportive county system.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with on-site and remote work options after probation, plus comprehensive benefits including healthcare, pension, and paid time off.

Competenze

• Six months of experience as a County Caseworker 1; or
• Completion of County Social Casework Intern program; or
• Bachelor's degree with a social welfare major; or
• Bachelor's degree with 12 college credits in sociology/social sciences and one year of professional social casework experience; or
• Any equivalent combination including 12 college credits in related social sciences.

Mansioni

• Monitor, link, and evaluate services; refer as needed.
• Provide direct, regular individual contact and meet productivity standards.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings to develop individualized service plans.
• Enter and maintain information in computerized databases and state systems.
• Offer crisis intervention and coordinate assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with agency staff, providers, and community resources.
• Link individuals to transportation services or arrange transportation to appointments.
