Job summary

FLOFORM Boise Branch is seeking a full-time Fabricator/Polisher for the night shift. You will finish stone surfaces, grinding and polishing to meet templates and specifications.

Ideal candidates have experience polishing natural stone or engineered quartz, plus familiarity with grinders, polishers, and hand/power tools. We value hardworking, organized individuals who can read measurements and communicate clearly. MS Office skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience polishing natural stone or engineered quartz is a plus.
• Experience using grinders and polishers is an asset.
• Must be hardworking, motivated, well organized and task oriented.
• Basic computer skills, MS Office.
• Ability to read units of measurements.
• Knowledge of hand woodworking tools and operation of power tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• File grooved, contoured, and irregular surfaces of stone to templates or specifications.
• Grind, sand, clean or polish objects or parts to correct defects or prepare surfaces.
• Load/unload and adjust work pieces onto equipment or tables.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Night shift: Monday - Thursday.

Required immediately, our BOISE Branch is seeking Full time FABRICATOR/POLISHER (Night Shift)

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a similar role with polishing on natural stone and engineered quartz a plus or experience auto detailing considered transferrable skills
• Experience using grinders and polishers an asset
• Must be hardworking, motivated, well organized and task oriented
• Basic computer skills, MS office
• Have the ability to read units of measurements
• Demonstrate knowledge of hand woodworking tools and operate power tools such as table saw, chop saw, etc.
• Strong communication (both written and verbal)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• File grooved, contoured, and irregular surfaces of stone to confirm to templates, other parts and layouts, or blueprint specifications
• Grind, sand, clean or polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools.
• Unload/Load and adjust work pieces onto equipment or work tables, using hand tools and mechanical lifters.
• Other duties as assigned
• Monday - Thursday (Full Time)
