Job summary

LGG INDUSTRIAL in Springville, UT seeks a Counter Technician to provide direct support to branch operations and ensure over-the-counter orders are completed. The role focuses on assisting existing and new customers to help the branch reach growth targets.

You will quote customers, build and inspect hose assemblies, and provide technical and service support to account management and customers. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with safety-first expectations.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Able to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Can work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in basic math (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Able to perform calculations with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, internet, email).
• Capable of using company software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Quote customers in-person, by phone, or email.
• Build, test, and inspect hose assemblies for customer needs.
• Provide technical/service support to account management and customers.
• Process inquiries into the sales system.
• Help achieve branch sales goals.
• Monitor on-time delivery and expedite when needed.
• Track customer inventory for orders.
• Make outbound calls for new business and growth opportunities.
• Foster strong internal and external relationships.
