Job summary

Snelling is seeking a Counter Sales professional to greet customers and assist with hydraulic hose and fittings at a busy counter. You will cross-reference part numbers, assemble hose assemblies to specs, and process sales using P21 inventory software.

You must read technical specs, measure fittings, and maintain inventory accuracy while providing pricing and availability information. A valid driver’s license is required to operate within the shop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hydraulic/industrial hose and fittings or similar counter sales.
• Ability to read technical specs and measure fittings.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer phones and direct calls.
• Cross-reference part numbers and identify replacements from samples or descriptions.
• Build and assemble hydraulic hose assemblies to specifications.
• Process sales transactions, quotes, and special orders using P21 inventory software.
• Maintain accurate stock levels; pull, restock, and organize inventory.
• Answer phone/email inquiries and provide pricing/availability information.
• Upsell related products where appropriate.
• Keep the counter area and displays clean and organized.
