Job summary

Moby Dick House Of Kabob in Arlington, VA seeks a friendly cashier to join our fast-casual team. You will deliver warm service, help guests with menu selections, and handle transactions accurately at the POS system.

Ideal candidates display strong communication, multitasking ability, and reliability. You will work in a fast-paced setting, support takeout/delivery orders, and help keep the dining area and front-end stocked and organized.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections.
• Accurately process customer transactions using the POS system, including cash, credit, and other forms of payment.
• Ensure all orders are entered correctly and delivered to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and dining area.
• Assist with packing and handing off takeout and delivery orders.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally, escalating issues to the manager when necessary.
• Monitor inventory of front-end supplies, such as napkins, utensils, and sauces, and replenish as needed.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of food and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
