Moby Dick House of Kabob is seeking a friendly cashier to join our team. You will handle transactions, greet guests, and help ensure a memorable dining experience in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, basic math skills, and reliability. Flexible availability including evenings and weekends is preferred. You will operate the POS, assist with takeout and delivery orders, and maintain a clean, welcoming front area.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections.
• Process transactions using POS, including cash and cards.
• Enter orders correctly and deliver to the appropriate team members.
• Keep cashier station and dining area clean and organized.
• Assist with packing and taking out delivery orders.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and escalate as needed.
• Monitor inventory of front-end supplies and replenish as needed.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean workspace.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operations.
