Moby Dick House Of Kabob is seeking a friendly and reliable cashier to join our fast-casual team in Olney, MD. You will handle transactions accurately at the POS, help guests select menu items, and ensure a welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections.
• Accurately process customer transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash, credit, and other forms of payment.
• Ensure all orders are entered correctly and delivered to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and dining area.
• Assist with packing and handing off takeout and delivery orders.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally, escalating issues to the manager when necessary.
• Monitor inventory of front-end supplies, such as napkins, utensils, and sauces, and replenish as needed.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of food and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
