Bridgestone HosePower, LLC is North America's Premier Hydraulic and Industrial Hose Sales and Service Company. Headquartered in Orange Park, Florida, we offer Counter Service, Mobile Hose Repair, and state-of-the-art OEM Centers throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Due to current and projected growth, HosePower is seeking a well-rounded, motivated self-starter to work at our retail counter and assist with day-to-day warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

1. Assist customers on-site to determine the best products for their needs.
2. Fulfill orders based on incoming pick tickets for customer pickup or shipment.
3. Identify hydraulic hoses and perform on-site fabrication (training provided).
4. Display merchandise, suggest product selections, and highlight features such as quality and utility.
5. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
6. Discuss the use and features of various hoses and products; make recommendations based on customer needs.
7. Resolve or escalate inventory issues or customer concerns to management.
8. Prepare sales orders or quote requests.
9. Maintain organized stock on shelves and in designated areas.
10. Uphold environmental health and safety standards.
11. Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Prior experience in a retail sales environment.
2. Experience operating a forklift; valid certification preferred but not required.
3. The ability to lift and move over 50 lbs.
4. Practical knowledge of warehouse operations, data processing, and paperwork flow.
5. Mechanical aptitude; comfortable using hand tools and equipment such as saws and crimpers; able to read a tape measure.
6. Proficiency in Internet use and Microsoft Office products.
7. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training.
