The Warehouse Associate position exists to ensure effective movement and management of inventory between the dock, sales floor, product repair, customer pickup, and delivery. This role involves evaluating and shipping merchandise and managing inventory flow. The Warehouse Associate is also responsible for unloading trailers (Receiving). This is an individual contributor role within a designated unit.

The Warehouse Associate ensures efficient inventory movement and management across various areas, including dock, sales floor, and customer pickups. Responsibilities include evaluating merchandise, unloading trailers, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Job Duties

1. Fills order requests, stages merchandise, and loads for shipments (Shipping).
2. Evaluates products and moves them to designated zones for processing (Receiving).
3. Moves merchandise between dock, stockroom, sales floor, customer pickup/delivery, and removes sold merchandise from the sales floor.
4. Audits and maintains accuracy of the HFM (Hold for Merchandise) staging area.
5. Responsible for assembling merchandise.
6. Assembles and disassembles fixtures for seasonal or floor plan changes.
7. Processes receipts and monitors inventory logs.
8. Creates documentation for shipments and deliveries.
9. Provides timely, friendly customer service during pickups and inquiries.
10. Reports unsafe or unethical conditions to management.
11. Supports a team environment by ensuring timely merchandise movement and presentation standards.
12. Follows company policies to protect assets during customer pickups.
13. Performs daily housekeeping tasks.
14. Performs miscellaneous duties, including assisting as extra sales help when cross-trained.
15. Maintains a clean and safe receiving area.
16. Assists customers with loading and securing merchandise in their vehicles.
