Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate - Bardstown

Position: Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate

Location: Bardstown, Kentucky

Employment Type: Full time, 40+ hours/week, Monday - Friday
Industry: Plumbing & Industrial Wholesale

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming and outgoing material, load and unload trucks.
• Accurately pull and prepare orders from the warehouse/yard for customer deliveries.
• Process and fulfill counter and drive-thru customer sales orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and excellent service.
• Maintain a well-organized and fully stocked counter area, ensuring products are readily available for customers.
• Build and maintain a good working relationship with customers and associates, as well as coworkers and management.
• Ensure that the warehouse and counter area is clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Adhere to the rules and regulations as set forth in the Employee Handbook.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum education level of a high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
• Capable of lifting up to 80 pounds and accustomed to frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
• Pre-employment drug screen & background check.
• Role may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity.
• Excellent customer service is a must. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a customer-centric approach in their interactions.
• Candidates must exhibit a strong commitment to dependable attendance.
• Forklift experience is preferred, but is not a strict requirement; training can be provided by the company.
• Previous experience in a similar counter sales or warehouse role is preferred.
• All safety training provided by the company is required.
