Job summary

Schaedler Yesco Distribution in New Castle, PA is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to support the branch and deliver outstanding customer service. You will assist customers at the counter, help with product selection, and coordinate with sales and operations to ensure accurate pricing, stock, and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have retail or sales experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical sales or distribution preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products.
• Experience in retail or sales environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve a group of diverse customers at counters by providing information on products or services
• Assist customers with product selection and application
• Share information as it relates to credit policy, delivery options, and in-house services
• Provide feedback on product availability and delivery information
• Maintain a neat, organized counter area and keep materials labeled
• Maintain vendor promotional materials and sales references at counter area
• Grow sales and gross margin
• Review daily reports and queues to prioritize bids, open orders, and credits
• Maintain Will Call orders and handle related tasks
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Communicate professionally with customers and vendors
