Graybar is seeking a Counter Sales Representative in Anchorage to serve as the face of the company for walk-in customers and to handle will-call orders, while learning Graybar's extensive product line.

You will sell merchandise, assist customers with their needs, and actively participate in warehouse tasks. The role emphasizes strong customer service, product knowledge, and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for customer service.
• Ability to communicate well with customers to understand their needs.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to work in a warehouse environment.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and proper use of PPE.
• 2+ years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn Graybar's products through self-study, training classes, and on-the-job learning.
• Place, arrange and maintain merchandise in counter area.
• Sell merchandise to walk-in customers and manage will-call (pickup) orders.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Be active in the warehouse.
