Job summary

Ferguson seeks a Counter Sales Representative in Texas to assist customers with product selection, process orders, and handle checkout and pickup preparation. You will maintain merchandising standards and support a safe, organized showroom environment.

The role requires basic product knowledge, Cash handling skills, and a willingness to learn. Schedule is Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of products is preferred.
• General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
• General math skills to allow for cash accounting
• An ability to learn is a must have!
• Excellent decision making and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provides advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs
• Processing orders via order management system
• Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised
• Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas
• Maintain a safe working environment including PPE
• Follow safety regulations including PPE usage (e.g., safety harness as required)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs

Pay Range:

$15.00 - $33.85

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
