Job summary

Ferguson in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to assist customers with product recommendations, process orders, and help keep the showroom organized.

You will work with a team, handle cash transactions, stock shelves, and uphold safety standards while delivering friendly, reliable service.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of customer service, sales, or related experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of products preferred
• General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office required
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
• General math skills to allow for cash accounting
• Willingness to learn
• Excellent decision making and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provides advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs
• Processing orders via order management system
• Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised
• Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas
• Maintain a safe working environment including PPE
• Adhere to safety regulations, including correct PPE usage

Responsibilities:

• Provides advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs
• Processing orders via order management system
• Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised
• Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas
• Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of customer service, sales, or related experience is preferred
• Basic knowledge of products is preferred
• General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
• General math skills to allow for cash accounting
• An ability to learn is a must have!
• Excellent decision making and communication skills

Pay Range:

$15.00 - $21.68

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.

Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
