Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to provide advice to customers on the best products, process orders, and handle transactions in a fast-paced hardware supply environment.

You will assist customers, maintain merchandise presentation, and ensure accurate stocking and safe practices while following PPE guidelines. Excellent communication and basic math skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of products preferred
• General computer skills including Microsoft Office required
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• General math skills to support cash handling
• Strong learning ability and good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provides advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs
• Processing orders via the order management system
• Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards
• Ensure merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas
• Maintain a safe working environment including PPE and safety regulations

Schedule: M-F 7:00am-4:00pm

Responsibilities

• Provides advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs

• Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas
• Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of products is preferred
• General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• General math skills to allow for cash accounting
• An ability to learn is a must have!
• Excellent decision making and communication skills

Pay Range

$15.00 - $29.19

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
