Ferguson is seeking a Union Counter Sales Representative in California. The role requires handling cash, preparing orders for pickup, and maintaining store merchandising to support customer satisfaction.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm with overtime as needed; pay rate is $21.50/hr. The position emphasizes problem solving, teamwork, and safety compliance while assisting customers with HVAC, plumbing and related products.

Formación

• 0-3 years experience preferred.

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Union Counter Sales Representative.

Position Details:

Schedule | Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm plus overtime as needed.

Pay Rate | $21.50/hr

Responsibilities:

• Operate cash registers and follows established cash handling procedures
• Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised
• Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas
• Actively engage in developing more effective customer service skills
• Provides honest and trustworthy advice to customers regarding the best products that fit the customers’ expectations
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs

Qualifications:

• 0-3 years experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of products is preferred
• HVAC or plumbing experience is preferred
• Warehouse background is a great plus
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
• General math skills to allow for cash accounting
• An ability to learn is a must have!
• Excellent decision making and communication skills
