Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role supports customers by advising on the best products, processing orders, and staging items for pickup.

You will help maintain store appearance, restock merchandise, and ensure a safe, efficient shopping environment. Schedule: M-F 6am-4pm, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Customer service or counter sales experience preferred.
• Background or experience in trades, construction, manufacturing, or related mechanical work preferred.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Responsibilities:

• Provides advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs
• Processing orders via order management system
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised
• Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas
• Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs

Qualifications:

• Customer service or counter sales experience is preferred
• Background or experience in the trades, construction, manufacturing, or related mechanical work is preferred
• Prior forklift experience is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Basic knowledge of fire protection or plumbing products is preferred
• General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise from warehouse to customer's vehicles
• General math skills to allow for cash accounting
• An ability to learn is a must have!
• Excellent decision making and communication skills
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required

- Pay Range: - $15.00 - $21.68 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. - This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. - Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
