ALL-GAS Company in Hartford, CT is seeking a friendly Counter Sales Representative to greet customers, provide product information, and process transactions at the showroom counter. You will support the sales team, handle inquiries, and help maintain an organized sales area.

You will need excellent communication skills, the ability to learn quickly, and the stamina to stand for extended periods while assisting customers and colleagues.

As a Counter Sales Representative, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service and support our sales department by working our showroom sales counter. Primary responsibilities will include assisting customers with their purchases, answering inquiries, and ensuring a smooth sales process to support the sales team by adding your energetic, outgoing, and friendly personality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide product information and recommendations to customers

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment

• Provide back up support to the Customer Service Department

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is preferred
• Willing and eager to learn
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
